Although large flowers generally cost more than small, only one large flower may be needed. Leaves and buds are optional. Large flowers may also be used for table arrangements.
Magnolias are frequently requested. An entire stem includes flower, bud and leaves. Since fresh cut Magnolias tend to show ‘bruising’, sugar Magnolias eliminate this problem. The small sugar Magnolia flower (no leaves, stem or bud) measures approximately 3.5 inches in diameter while the extra large flower measures over 10 inches. Entire stems with leaves measure even larger.
